Rush, Cedars-Sinai, Christiana Care & more join $22M funding in AVIA innovation network

Avia, a Chicago-based digital health consulting firm for healthcare providers, announced Oct. 23 an influx of $22 million in funding from strategic investors and 12 health system members of its Innovator Network.

The funding will allow Avia to expand its offerings for the more than 50 providers the firm is already guiding through digital transformation; Avia will broaden its focus to help partners better address consumerism, population health and risk-based arrangements. The company will also extend its services to more health systems, as well as pediatric hospitals and health insurers.
