The Medicaid Transformation Project is led by AVIA, a network for health systems, and Andy Slavitt, former acting administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and founder and general partner of Town Hall Ventures. Both the MTP and Town Hall Ventures seek to improve the health of underserved populations, the first through the collaboration of health systems and the second through venture capital investments.
