AVIA acquires Panda Health

  1. Is the merger a complete acquisition of Panda Health? 
    • Yes. Panda Health has been fully acquired by AVIA, the parent company of AVIA Marketplace. 
  2. Will Panda Health employees continue to have their positions? What is happening with their leadership team?
    • The majority of Panda Health employees will be transitioned to become part of the AVIA team. Kristen Flint, Panda’s CFO, will become the new SVP of AVIA Marketplace and Panda Health. Their CEO Ryan Bengtson, will serve as an advisor to AVIA.
  3. Will the HQ be in Chicago?
    • Both AVIA and Panda Health are virtual-first workforces. The joint organization’s headquarters will be in Chicago, joining AVIA’s existing location.
  4. How will this impact the customers of both organizations?
    • All customers will keep full access to their current platforms. After the transition/integration of the two platforms. Panda customers will gain access to AVIA insights and a large health system community, while AVIA customers will have Panda Research as an added benefit.   5. How will you have a single platform if you have two different organizations coming together? Is that solution currently available?
    • We are first working to validate and integrate the two databases. Again, all customers will keep full access to their current platforms. After the transition/integration of the two platforms. Panda customers will gain access to AVIA insights and a large health system community, while AVIA customers will have Panda Research as an added benefit. We will share updates regularly.
