This webinar delves into the critical issue of AI governance in hospitals, exploring how healthcare organizations can strategically manage the risks and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence. Drawing on insights from the AVIA Generative AI Collaboration and the trusted AI Governance framework, Patrick Higley from AVIA will facilitate a conversation with RUSH University Health System, who will share their hands-on experience about how they are implementing effective AI governance frameworks.

AI in health care has immense potential but also risks of adverse, unexpected and/or negative outcomes, requiring a framework focused on health impact, fairness, ethics and equity to ensure it benefits all impacted stakeholders. Attendees will learn about practical initiatives such as gathering stakeholder feedback to understand trust levels, algorithmic transparency to ensure there is an understanding of how AI models work, and other actionable strategies for deploying AI in a manner that enhances patient care while mitigating associated risks.
